Basset Hound Town LLC (BHT) was founded in 2012.

The aim of BHT is to act as a resource for all Basset Hounds and Basset Hound Caregivers that request our resources. We are dedicated to giving the best possible care for Basset Hounds regardless of age, sight, hearing or other handicaps. Everyday we will be helping shelters and rescues find Bassets in need of our help.

Eventually BHT will be a non-profit organization but at this time it is privately, funded. BHT relies on the kindness of those in our community to help pay for the care needed by our animals. Many of the animals we rescue are in good health, but occasionally some need immediate medical treatment involving surgery or expensive medication.

We make every effort to ensure that our beloved dogs live in the loving environments that they so well deserve to their very last day on this earth.

Basset Hound Town is not an adoption, or fostering organization. It is going to be a brick and mortar building that will provide support, shelter, rehabilitation and veterinary services to Basset Hounds and for those Basset Hound Caregivers that need additional resources.
